SF Beer Week hosts a ton of beer related events within the span of about a week (duh). There are multiple events all over the bay each day of the week, but the majority of them take place in San Francisco. If I had my way, I'd go to at least one event each day and spend my beer week in a beery haze. Sadly, I only made it out to 3. 

Blackfield is back with another creatively titled album, V. This collaborative project between Steven Wilson and Aviv Geffen is something I've only been casually following. In fact, I don't think I've even listened to Welcome to my DNA (III) or Blackfield IV. Don't worry, this is something I will remedy very soon.

I'd like to end the 2016 edition of ListyMcListerson with my favorite concerts of the year.  It was a record year for me, going to 7 concerts in 7 days, and 2 concert in 1 night.  It feels like I went to a LOT of shows in 2016, but when I look back at it all it was only a measly 36.

When you work full time, going to a concert on a school night makes the next day really rough. Even if they don't mention it during the show, bands recognize the fact that you chose to spend your money, your time, and your hours of sleep to see them play.
